Mental health awareness campaign

Mental health should be a priority for everyone. Mental health problems affect society as a whole, and not just a small, isolated segment. While certain groups are more vulnerable, no-one is immune to poor mental health. Having a mental health problem is no different to having a physical health problem. It is a matter of recognising the symptoms, finding a way of treating them and taking steps to prevent the problem happening again.

The "minding your head" public information campaign seeks to increase awareness of mental health issues, provide information on organisations that can offer support, encourage those who may need help early rather than letting things get out of control, and reduce the stigma associated with poor mental health. If you feel you have a problem, open up and talk about it; if you see the signs in others encourage them to talk about it.
